Issac – 27 years old – Thai

Isaac
Posted on 08/11/2019

‘My name is Issac, and my family is originally from Nepal but now lives in Thailand. Never in my life, I traveled for a long journey, never I left my family, my friends, my home. I had the opportunity to go to Australia, and I took that chance. I landed 8,000 kilometers away from everything I ever knew in my life. In the first day, I arrived in Sydney, and I felt a mix of fear and excitement. I didn’t know anyone, didn’t know what to do, didn’t know where to go but everything around me was new, and that made my heart beating faster. The best thing that could happen to me was meeting great people who helped me to feel comfortable in this new environment. A French guy who was my flatmate is the first foreigner that I met here. He became my friend and my English teacher, and I will never forget the time we spent together. I am a musician, so I am always getting inspiration from my life to compose, and I think, I create my journey here with the people that I met at first and who gave me the notes and the rhythm to write my trip.’
